How to Root HTC Desire

Friends, Today I'm sharing how to root HTC desire...
Before Rooting i warn you that Rooting may brick your phone so be careful and follow the steps correctly.
Take a backup of all your contacts, applications , private messages and all data that you required are necessary.
Rooting Guide:
1. First Download the superboot.zip file and extract it.
2. Put your device in bootloader mode – Turn off the phone
3. Now turn on by pressing volume up + volume down - key to enter into bootloader.
For WINDOWS – double click ‘install-superboot-windows.bat’
For MAC – Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type ‘chmod +x install-superboot-mac.sh’ followed by ‘./install-superboot-mac.sh’
For LINUX – Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type ‘chmod +x install-superboot-linux.sh’ followed by ‘./install-superboot-linux.sh’
Note: Try this at your own risk. If you are using a retail device, you need to unlock your bootloader via HTCdev first!
